Thun Castle

The Thun Castle was built between 1180 and 1190 by the Zähringen Dukes. In 1218 the castle was inherit by Kyburg Counts and in 1384 it was taken over by Berna community.The historical museum is hosted in the five large halls of the tower, which includes rich cultural and historic asset.
The Knights' Hall-of-the Zähringer is the centerpiece of the castle. The corner towers provide an incomparable view.
